Five events. Five very different nights. One consistent result.

Kel Modern Magic performing at Sun Life Excellence Cup awards night, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver
Sun Life Financial Corporate · Awards Night

Sun Life's Excellence Cup is their flagship annual awards night, and in 2024, they brought it to the Fairmont Vancouver with 120 guests, five speakers, and a custom trophy moment built like the Stanley Cup. Kel ran the full evening: close-up magic through the reception, MC hosting across speeches and award presentations, and a stage show that closed the program. It wasn't just an event. It was the benchmark every team lead talked about on Monday morning.

"Kelvin managed the evening's agenda with professional precision while simultaneously captivating our VIPs and guests. The night concluded with a truly fantastic magic show that left everyone mesmerized." - Adrian Fung, Business Development Consultant, Sun Life

Kel Modern Magic performing close-up magic at McDonald's corporate celebration, Vancouver Hilton
McDonald's Canada Corporate · Two Years Running

McDonald's brought their annual staff celebration to the Vancouver Hilton and trusted Kel Modern Magic and MC Mike Oulton to run the entire evening, two years running. Close-up magic through cocktails. MC-hosted dinner and award presentations. A 45-minute stage show built for a ballroom. Interactive team games, DJ, and karaoke to close the night. Staff walked away energized and connected. McDonald's rebooked before the confetti settled.

Kel Modern Magic performing at McCarthy & Tétrault Christmas party, Vancouver
McCarthy & Tétrault Law Firm · 5 Years Running

McCarthy & Tétrault has booked Kel five years running, and confirmed their 2026 Christmas party before the 2025 one even wrapped. Earls Yaletown Loft. Glowbal. Coast. Riley's. The venues change; the result doesn't: a room full of lawyers, partners, and senior clients who stop networking and start actually talking. When the magic happens in your hands rather than on a stage, the room changes fast. Smart firms notice. They don't switch what works.

"He absolutely crushed it." - Mel W, McCarthy & Tétrault

Kel Modern Magic performing close-up magic at Endeavour Silver Christmas party, Hyatt Regency Vancouver
Endeavour Silver Corporate · Christmas Party

Endeavour Silver, a Vancouver-headquartered silver mining company, didn't want to manage five vendors. They wanted one team to run the whole night at the Hyatt Regency. Kel and MC Mike Oulton delivered it end to end: elimination games that pulled half the room into a circle within minutes, close-up magic in guests' hands through cocktail hour, a book test and card divination after dinner, and audience voting that kept everyone in it to the last prize. One contract. One team. A room that didn't want to leave.

"I thought that was very impressive. All the close-up magic. I was quite confused, so it worked out really well." - guest, Endeavour Silver Christmas party

Kel Ng performing close-up card magic at Neeraj and Natasha's Indian wedding, Vancouver
Neeraj & Natasha Wedding · 500 Guests

A 500-guest Indian wedding outside Vancouver, with a two-and-a-half-hour cocktail hour before the program, the dead zone most planners never solve. Kel worked the room table to table, and within 30 minutes the bride's side and the groom's side were laughing in the same circles for the first time all night. Strangers learned each other's names. The room was warm long before the program started. After the speeches, a guest walked over and said the line that became the case study.

"You should've been the MC. You should've run the whole thing." - guest, Neeraj & Natasha's wedding
